This cancellation policy is necessary for our small business to continue to serve our clients in need of treatment. Each of our professionals is a subcontractor to Humber Bay Physio and are not employees. They receive no remuneration for missed appointments, therefore 1 missed appointment has a significant financial impact.

We have voicemail and email which we check regularly so a message can be left at any time of the day or night. We do understand that an unexpected emergency may/can occur and we will treat your specific situation with personal attention. We do not consider conflicts, forgetting, not getting a courtesy call, having to stay late at work to be emergencies.

If you are unable to provide this notice, we expect you will pay for the missed appointment in full if we are unable to fill the spot. We often have a waiting list and if given enough notice we can often fill the appointment.

Please call the clinic to cancel an appointment or better yet find a friend or family member to take your spot. We can take payment for the treatment you missed over the phone. Failure to show up and not call always results in full service fee charged.
